Hi! Welcome to my shop! I hope you see many things you like here! I'm not sure where we're going to go with this blog, whether it'll be personal or professional, or a mixture of both. I'd like to share my soaping adventures with you all and hopefully you'll learn more about the great stuff that goes into the products I sell, and maybe get to know me in the process.

A little about me...

I'm a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a grandmother, an aunt, a great aunt, a friend. I work hard and I play hard. I love music, I play guitar, I sing, and I'm in a band. I'm an information junkie and a geek. I have a day job at a well-known computer company and I am a college student pursuing a degree in Mathematics. I love to make things... I craft, I sew, I quilt and I make bath and body products.

I got into making bath and body products because I was looking for a way to combat my chronic dry skin issues without breaking the bank. It all started with my Solid Lotion Bar. After using that for the first time, I was convinced I could find other things to bring some relief to this problem. Everything I sell in The Boutique has been tested first by me, then by a selection of folks who have confidence in my products. The products in my store are added only after this R&D process, so you know there are several seals of approval behind each product!
